The Bubble of Your Reality Needs Popped!

I often think of ways to explain the world to individuals who are trapped inside their own personal bubble of reality, never looking outside those enclosed, restrictive walls they've been placed inside by various means; materialism, egoism, media, television, technology, distractions, negative thoughts, emotions, etc.

It's a daunting task, and I hope that you'll join me as I travel down this path with only one goal - to help others to reach out, ever so slightly, and press on the imagined walls surrounding them. Their personal blinders, if you will, are what I speak of. To help them put more and more pressure on the wall of their personal bubble, and eventually a crescendo explosion as the bubble pops, opening them up to the realities they've been unaware of for so many years of their mortal experience in this world.

I'm sure that many people out there do have good intentions - they make plans to spend more time with their family, children, loved ones; but always something gets in the way. Always there's some "thing" that shows up just in time to mess up those plans and make them push them back just a bit. Then a bit more, and a bit more, until eventually those plans are considered a pipe dream - unattainable, lost but not forgotten; simply regrets anymore that they wish they could have done but never did for whatever reason.

There's no time like right now to do those things, because most of us cannot possibly know what the future holds. Those that do seek to forget, and distance themselves from the realities of knowing.

I have a challenge for you. Yes, YOU!

It's a very simple challenge that starts slowly, and is certain to cascade into a welcome change in lifestyle over a broad range of time. Eventually it will become a daily routine, and you'll never imagine that this wasn't the way everything worked before...

Set aside a day, any day of the week - even a weekend when there's less going on in the hustle and bustle of this rat race we all are forced to partake in. Just a single day, and do the following:

  • Turn off the TV. Do not allow the television to be turned on all day long from the moment your eyes open to the time they close for the night's rest.
  • Take the now free time that is normally spent disintegrating into a lump on the couch to share precious moments with your family, loved ones, or children - or all of the above.
Now, what do you do? This is a fantastically difficult question to answer - normally, "quality time" spent with family was once known to be watching a favorite TV show together before bed. Perhaps you would gather together to watch your favorite sports team's game each week. Perhaps you would sit with your spouse, read the newspaper of an afternoon while the nightly news played in the background, barely noticing eachother's presence in the room after a while.

Here are a few very simple, and most of the time FREE, things you can do with this time you used to call TV time:
  1. Go to the Library - information should never have a price tag, and at the Public Library, it doesn't. You can literally spend hours with your child(ren) in the Library before you realize a single minute had passed.
  2. Go to the Park - this also has no price tag, and is endless entertainment for a family with kids, a young couple, or elderly lovebirds married for decades on end.
  3. Go to the YMCA - nowadays the "Y" has a membership fee, unfortunately. They've strayed from their community based mission and have become a standard corporation, but activities spent with loved ones will not only bond you, but make your body healthier as well.
  4. Go for a jog/walk - this is something most don't even consider to be "enjoyment", but it can be if spent with people you care about, and who care about you. A simple stroll with my daughter in the evening gives us time alone to talk about anything her 6 year old mind can come up with, and I can try and sink in some wisdom that just might be remembered.
  5. Go for a bike ride - sometimes you don't even notice the most beautiful things around you until you stop passing them by at 45 MPH, and roll past them at a slower pace when your mind can process what's around you fully, and appreciate nature and the organic beauty and symmetry of the world you inhabit.
I hope that you do take this challenge. Remember, it's only one day - one single day of your life this week that you can set aside to slow down, leave the cell phones at home, and go out and simply enjoy yourself. It can be relieving, it can rid you of your everyday stresses and cares, and it can literally re-forge old bonds that may be failing after a while of living in this materialistic, ego-maniacal world dominated by "things" that don't really matter.

Much love and get out there to live for once!

DLTTS! Podcast Guest @JessicaKnew Talks Candidly!

I had the very fortunate opportunity to stumble across a very special woman who goes by the name "Just Jess" and has the innate and very rare ability to actually bear witness to future events. Some may call her a 'seer' or perhaps a 'psychic' but I simply refer to her, after having talked to her in length through e-mail and then via Skype for the next episode of "Don't Listen To This Show!", the modern-day female Socrates! She's amazing, and even took MORE time out of her schedule to answer a few questions for this very special blog spot about the episode, which will be available this Sunday, 1/20/13. By the way, check out the 'teaser' for that show, available now to the RIGHT of this post to get a taste of that show!

(I will be referred to as "CA" for Conscious Awareness which is my Twitter handle, and Jessica will be referred to as "Jess" because she's 'just Jess')

CA: So I guess we'll start small. What's your favorite color?
Jess: fav color? really? lol Green

CA: When did you first notice you had an ability?
Jess:age 3 1/2 in Pre-K Nature Nursery School.. felt like i was sentient and the other kids around me just weren't fully "there" yet. age 6 i felt i knew the future ... i of course analyzed myself as to it's possibility and improbability all the way up to 9/11/01 when proof could not be denied.I would have preferred to be wrong of course - to just be able to shake it all off and move on but that's not what happened.

CA:So did you tell anyone at the time that you thought you had some kind of special ability to see into the future?
Jess:I told A Lot of people... pretty much anyone I had some modicum of trust in throughout my life.School Friends ( a select few ) girls i knew since Kindergarten all the way through grade 12.In 84 J.D sat behind me in class & J.F. was the girl I looked over my left shoulder at with eyes wide because I just had that - "This is the month, This is the day, Theses are the minutes, ultimate tragedy , but in the future"J.D. & J.F. was there in 86 when i spoke of illness carried by mosquitoes in 20 years (we were at a week long sleep over camp) " I'm happy we are doing this now and not in 10, no, 20 years when mosquitoes will carry disease like flying hypodermic needles"In 12th grade it was J.F. i showed on the globe where the 04 tsunami would be including where the waves would wash on shore and in what order , pointing to the area on Africa last
As a senior , a junior asked me what I thought of military service. I told her it would be fine because she had enough time to gain veteran status and fulfill her duty before IT happened meaning 9/11. I told her when George Bush Jr was elected to get the F out. ( if she didn't i feel she would have been electrocuted in base ) this was 1993 her initials were H.K.In 94 i told a guy M.Z. i worked with - it weirded him out but we stayed friends for 10 more years till 04 we were pretty close and he saw me randomly give random people i met info.Other people i told.. J.C. who is now a professor in Oregon. W.A. in 1995 ... Big Guy i nicknamed him - he was friends with M.Z since a kid. Boyfriend Eric Kirkland i told in 1996 who was a roadie for Letters To Cleo, Superdrag , etc and told Scott something who was Superdrag's road manager in 96. Met him when they did the Stone Pony , then Conan O'Brien the next night ( Chuck Norris was also on that night) I told Scott to take the guys ( the band ) up to the top of the World Trade Center towers to take pictures because they wold appreciate them in the future.around 2000 i told Rick and Renee a couple from East Providence with an interesting back story -for some reason we were talking about the worst things we ever did.. they told me their story... i told them about 9/11 adding that i didn't do enough to stop it... even though it hadn't happened yet.2000 told a girl C.D. told her to write it down in her diary but she didn't; she's on twitter if you wanted to talk to her2001 i told two sisters 3 nights before it happened after we went to the movies .. saw Jay & Silent Bob Strike Back... i still have the tickets i think... OH that reminds me of B.W who took me to another concert. He was a Phish fan.. i kept that ticket too because it was 9/11/2000 and i told him that was coincidental because it was going to happen in exactly one year..B.W. did work for the travel industry and I asked him what he was going to do after 9/11 because travel will be taking a hit
I told probably 10-20 other random people too..a guy about G.W's two terms; around 1996
i asked a financial planner what he was going to do when the economy tanked in ten years... that was 1997 or 1998
told a woman who gave me pasta salad in the parking lot of a concert ( which is normal like tailgating ) after she told me her dad had stocks in Airlines i told her to pull all that out and put it in oil and defense companies because we had an Oil War president, this was in 2001 a few months before the attack.

CA:Wow, so is that everything?
Jess: i digress back to 1993 when i really spilled my guts to J.D. we were in my car and i pulled into the parking lot of our elementary school parking right in front of where our 4th grade class was... where i got the month, and day , and minutes 9/11/1984. I told her why I had a wall around me ( to protect myself as well as the all of them from knowing what i knew because i saw how it changed me and i liked them all just the way they were )I told her about when I told J.F. about the tsunami. I told her about getting the date in 4th grade... having nightmares about being on the planes, about George Bush's two terms, about him taking us back to war in Iraq and it lasting a long time. I told her about how when people fall from the towers that i fall with them, I told her i thought it would be planes ( this was may 93 and the WTC bombing had just happened so this is how i knew it lined up with that Nostradamus show i saw in 1981. I told her i thought it would be 4 planes,, 1 for each tower, 1 in the pentagon and that i could see where the other one hit. I told her about the pink safety comb i used in my dreams. I told her about " they will say there is a bomb, but there is no bomb, that's just for crowd control , the plane IS the bomb" I told her the towers would collapse and the cloud and debris would make everything look like a nuclear winter with all the particulates like dust/ash covering everything. I actually got the year during this conversation because i said i didn't know the year, but then i got the feeling and told her i think it will be in the next ten years, but not in the 90s. Doing the math i was like so that means 2000.... 2001 , and right then i felt energy swoop up my arm like it does,, i said it again, 2001 .. that's when i knew it was 2001. I didn't even bother saying 2002 or 2003.I told her i thought we were eternal souls
I told her about the rise of China
I even mentioned that identity theft would become huge and that she should watch her information carefully , because i thought she would be affected , turns out when she went to buy a house a coworker of hers had cashed some of her checks and screwed up the house deal a bit....aside from what i specifically told her... i knew in the WTC one of the elevators cables would be cut , one would be drenched in fuel a moment before exploding. A fireball on a landing where i tried to shield a lady.As a kid it blew my mind that i was killed a few times by being detained in the wrong place and left to die. I feel i was in the stairwell where the people survived the collapse. I was in the hotel and pulled into an unsafe area
i like the memory of me dressed as an angel out front handing out cards telling people "Today is a good day, to go home."I got arrested so many times...I'm sure there's more.. i could add to it but i will never contradict myself because it's nothing but truth.Frankly ,they have machines now that can tell where you hold long term memory and that's where all these packets of info are stored... starting since 1981..that enough for now?

CA: Wow, so was every premonition you ever had bad news, or what?
Jess: oh in 1984 after getting the date of 9/11 i asked if i only know bad things and i thought tell me something good "The Red Sox will win the World Series 86 years from the last time they won" I didn't have google then lol. i had to ask my mom who didn't know so then i had to go look it up in my World Book Encyclopedias....In 1986 it made sense... after the Buckner thing i saw the cosmic karma of it.In 5th grade Sept85-May96 i asked " what's going to be Big? Google was my answer... which meant Nothing to me at the time. I looked it up in the dictionary and the closest word was Googol... which i remember meant a number with a bunch of zeros ...
I remember seeing the Challenger on the news the morning it was supposed to take off. I remember seeing icicles on it and thinking " It was too cold to take off"
I remember seeing the Columbia crew take the same walk the Challenger crew did thinking about that scene from the Godfather... " Oh? you won't be seeing them again." like referring to the guy that was supposed to protect the Godfather that day when he got shot.... "take the gun , leave the canoli"
I told people in 07 about Greensburg and VA Tech shooting " They think it's over but it's not over"
Elizabeth Smart huge a huge catch 21 knowing where she was but if i told, she would be killed and if i didn't she would be back. If i told the police would've pushed up into the wooded hill and he would've stabbed her and left her, leg tied to the tree. I'd never choose that just to be right.

CA: Well, that's a ton of information - was it all accurate like that or did it take time to figure things out?
Jess: I never would have been to be as accurate if my aim was to profit of it... putting everyone before myself was a key to unlock it.

CA: Is there anything else we should know about right now?
Jess: That should cover it for now lol.

Defending the 2nd Amendment (by: Jonathan Dunn)

This article was not written by me! It was written by a blogger named Jonathan Dunn.

On December 14th 2012, the tragedy of Sandy Hook killed 26 innocent teachers and kids. RIP. Every day since the tragedy, the liberal media has called for different kinds of bans on guns. However, members of the public, including the NRA, have been speaking out, trying to defend the 2nd Amendment.  2nd Amendment defenders have an extremely strong case, here are some facts to help you in your next heated gun argument.

2nd Amendment – In 1787, at the Constitutional Convention in Philadelphia, America’s Founding Fathers discussed every topic from states, to slavery to the Constitution. The Founding Fathers and Conservatives believe that our inalienable rights come from God and our Creator, and not from government. Conservatives believe you are born with these rights. If you believe in inalienable rights, no temporary politician or government can give you any rights.  Therefore, they cannot and should not be able to take any away from you.

Assault Weapons – The media has popularized the term “assault weapons” since the Sandy Hook tragedy, and their definition of an assault weapon is a certain type of semi-automatic gun or military style gun (guns that look like the ones the military possess, however they perform a lot different, in action) and this leads to several questions.  If I go out tomorrow and buy a gun for the sole purpose of self-defense and never use it, is that still considered an assault rifle? Likewise, if someone goes out tomorrow and kills someone with a baseball bat or a hammer, are their baseball bats and hammers considered assault weapons?  Should they be banned?

Murders – The liberal argument says that if we remove assault weapons from society, there would be no mass murders. Two of the biggest mass murders in my lifetime included no guns – 9/11 used only 4 planes and Stanley knifes and the Oklahoma Bombing. Also, if guns are so bad and need to be banned, how come a country that actively asks its population to carry fire arms, never has mass school shootings (country is Israel)?  When we think of all the gun massacres of the recent past, how come NONE happened in an area that permitted the carrying of fire arms?  The point here is simple – bad people will always do bad things whether a country makes it legal or illegal for its population to possess fire arms and Ronald Reagan summed it up best when he said, “We must reject the idea that every time a law’s broken, society is guilty rather than the lawbreaker. It is time to restore the American precept that each individual is accountable for his actions.”  If someone is determined to kill or assault, they will not stop killing and assaulting just because guns are illegal.

Bill of Rights  Another statement used right now is, “You don’t NEED an assault rifle to go hunting,” or “you don’t need 30 bullets in a clip.”  On his radio show, Mark Levin has said that it is called the “Bill of Rights” and not the “Bill of Needs.”   Mark says we are now living in a Post-Constitutional America, and this will only furthermore be proved if America lets temporary politicians and/or a President acting liking a dictator, to remove the 2nd amendment from a free people. Americans have inalienable rights to own a gun and if someone decides to go hunting with a military style rifle with 100 rounds in it, or decides to buy a hand gun for self-protection and use it in a responsible manner, who are you, as an individual, or you as politician to say “No, you can’t have that”, or “You don’t need that”.
Guns – Assume, for a minute, that America enforces a gun ban.  What do you think would happen? Effectively, a gun ban would only remove guns from good honest citizens while the government and criminals would remain armed. There is sufficient evidence that a gun ban would not work on criminals because look at how restrictions on drugs and even the sex trade has worked in the past? It has not. But again, lets go one step further towards a Utopian mindset – look at the strictest federal prisons, where rooms are turned down on a regular basis, mail is checked before being delivered, prisoners are searched before and after visits and yet crime at different  levels still takes place. So, transferring that to the modern world (which is a Utopian ideal where the individual is stripped of all rights), bad people still find ways to do bad things. So why was the second amendment made?

Self-Defense – Americans believe in the right to private property and the right to defend their property and, more importantly, their families. If someone walks into your house and tries to rob you, you have the right to defend yourself – so let’s look at some different scenarios:
  • If a criminal brings a gun, the only way you stand a chance is if you own a gun.
  • If a criminal is armed with a knife, you are nearly guaranteed to be safe with a gun because the criminal will retreat or likely lose if you are armed with a gun.
  • If a criminal has no weapon, and walks up to a young man who is also unarmed, either could win. But what happens if the burglar is young and strong, and the victim is and old grandpa? God knows the damage the criminal could do. However if either were armed, it would give the victim a good chance of survival.

Governmental Tyranny – When the Founding Fathers included the second amendment, they wanted to empower the people (who are supposed to control government) to be able to defend themselves against government tyranny. When we review history, we have seen the ploy of governments taking away guns so citizens cannot defend themselves. In 1929, Stalin removed guns and killed approx. 20 million citizens, in 1935 Mao killed approx. 20 million, in 1938, Hitler killed approx. 13 million and in 1956, Pot killed approx. 2 million citizens.
Liberals have mocked the theory of self-defense by asking if we should give warheads to citizens too, since governments have them? The answer is no because how can someone defend themselves with a warhead?  People can defend themselves with a gun and when we look at modern warfare, Guerrilla warfare has proved most successful and people have mainly used guns.
To win this debate, conservatives need to stand up and CONTROL the discourse on guns, because there is not one scenario which warrants gun control.

It's time for a change in perception of time

When December 12th of the calendar year C.E. 2012 happened, it was an extremely rare occasion - it was when the month, the day, and the year all had the same numbers in them. Last year it happened, too - November 11th, 2011. Before that, October 10th, 2010. And even earlier; September 09, 2009.

Wait a minute - so you're telling me that this happens every year, brain? Why yes, human, that's exactly what I'm saying - although it wasn't always like that.

This succession of numerical order happens rather frequently - it's a chain event that goes through 01 to 12 of the millennial cycle. Interesting enough, though, this CYCLE is rather rare, in human terms - it only occurs once per every thousand years. Here's a brief video of me talking about the perception of time in regards to that day in our human history.

So with that being said, time simply doesn't exist anywhere except in our own mind's perception - we gauge the perception of time passing by our own movement through space! So the next time you think you don't have enough of the elusive creature called "Time", remember that the only place that time exists is inside your own mind - just make more of it!
